Webseries Review- Indian Police Force

Rohit Shetty, the mastermind behind cop-centric movies, is back with his debut on a digital platform with " Indian Police Force", a web series featuring talented actors in the role of a cop. The cast includes Sidhharath Malhotra, Vivek Oberoi, Shilpa Shetty, and Sharad Kelkar in the lead, while supported actors like Nikitin Dheer, Shweta Tiwari, Kanvir Malhotra and Mukesh Rishi.

The series follows the same Rohit Shetty Formula of Bomb Attack and then the police and terrorist encounters. The narrative includes a mixture of fights, guns, car smashings, and explosions, describing Rohit Shetty's signature camera shots. While the storyline treads a well-known path, it lacks the spark anticipated from Rohit Shetty's Production.

The series also displays unnecessary drone shots and slow-motion scenes, which unfortunately do not contribute much far in the viewing experience. The color tone, predominantly yellowish adds a dull mood to the visuals, impacting the series. However, the locations make a positive aspect of cinematography.

Talking about the dialogues, they are not that exciting, but they manage to keep the conversation flowing, allowing the story to progress. The screenplay appears weak, but the underlying story is intriguing. Despite flaws, the series maintains narrative flow.

The performance by the cast is admirable, especially the antagonist played by Mayyank Taandon. The action sequences are very well executed showcasing the action director and actor's efforts in it.

The series is shot by DOPs Girish Kant and Raza Hussain Mehta, with the screenplay written by Sandeep Saket, and Anusha Nandkumar and dialogues written by Sandeep Saket, Anusha Nandkumar, Ayush Trivedi, Vidhi Ghodegaonkar, and Directed by Rohit Shetty and Sushwanth Prakash.

The series " Indian Police Force" is a one-time watch, with a current IMDb rating of 8.2/10. If you are a fan of Rohit Shetty's style and enjoy intense action-packed drama, this might be one of the series on your binge-watch list.
