It is a based on real case, where a minor is raped by a "Baba", and the minor files a case against him. The real story began then after. Adv. P.C. Solankhi, played by Manoj Bajpayee is approached and the hearings start. The courtroom drama includes pieces of evidence, allegations, truth, tampering with evidence, and many things. After the court hearings, on the day of the verdict, what is the court's final judgement, is the film to watch for.
The case was a major one, and it is based on a real incident that happened. The screenplay and direction have taken care of each and every aspect of the case. The story starts with Madhya Pradesh going to the Jodhpur session court and finally ends in the Supreme Court Of India.
Talking about the character of Manoj Ji, we see a great sense of humour and versatile acting. Every lawyer has his own style of solving, examining the case, and it is shown here. The evidence and facts are presented to the court and the verdict is given. Manoj ji played a full-focused role and his firmness on his own terms and conditions gave his role of lawyer a boost and thus exciting to watch. His monologue of 5 to 7 minutes at the end, gives us a strong message and also gives goosebumps.
The movie is directed by Apoorv Singh Karki, while story-screenplay dialogues are written by Deepak Kingrani. The Director of Photography is handled by Arjun Kukreti and Editing is by Sumeet Kotian. The film is produced by Zee Studios, Bhanushali Studios, Practical Production and PR Motions Picture with co-production of Juhi Parekh Mehta, creative producer Suparn S Varma, with the co-operation of Kamlesh Bhanushali, Vishal Gurnanai and Asif Shaikh as Producers.
Overall, a film to watch for , where law and order, the safety of women, POSCO law and its importance after the Nirbahaya case, all are revised, and reunited to give a verdict which was justice to the victim.
