Review of Film - Bloddy Daddy

Introduction: The film is about a variety of nuisance businesses but through this business, a Police Informer aka a drug dealer saves his son and completes his responsibility. That's a sort of one-line for this movie. It is an adaptation of the 2011 French film Sleepless Night, which also has a Tamil remake named Thoongaa Vanam (2015), starring Kamal Haasan.

Exact Review: The film shows the story which starts after the 2020 lockdown and the 2021 reopening of India from lockdown. Based in Gurugram, drugs are supplied in the city. The drug chain, the dealings and the character Sumair aka Shahid Kapoor. He has luck as well as connections to get off from any situation he is in because he behaves as a police informer. But the game is twisted by the antagonist and the deal turns into a struggle for existence and personal war. This is the exact screenplay that is displayed on screen in Bloddy Daddy.

Action sequences are amazing. Fightings, and chasing excite us in some manner. Acting wise Shahid Kapoor is nice, also Daina Painty is good at her role. Sanjay Kapoor and Ronit Roy also play an important grey-shade role and have done a good job. The film makes a stretchy mark, where some scenes could be avoided. Shahid Kapoor's acting is fine, and all characters also perform sober.

This film is just an entertainer which bullets, blood and a mass entertainer. If you are searching for a film, which entertains you in such a manner, this can be one to watch. It is Streaming on Jio Cinema.
