Paavankhind - The Name says all

Another Marathi Historic Film and another Mavla of Shivaji Maharaj , Baji Prabhu Deshpande. There were only 400 ...... says the film .

Directed and written by Digpal Lanjekar, the film depicts the history of Maratha Mavlas who fought in Godhkhind now known as Paavankhind.

The visuals and the story shows the perfect research of writer towards the history of Shivaji Maharaj and war which took place .

Each and every cast has done their role perfectly . Ajay Purkar leading as Baji Prabhu Deshpande is superb at his performance. Mainly the dialogue " Chal" in the film , is funny at the same time , it shows the braveness of the Mavlas to fight against Siddhi's army .

The cinematography is done very interestingly and connect with audience emotionally .

The first half seem to be slow , but after interval the film takes a high jump and the war scenes are fabulously shooted. Chinmay Mandlekar playing Shivaji Maharaj , aslo seem committed fully to the role . The way he has characterized the role of Shivaji Maharaj , no one could be on that level.

The last scenes of war, literally makes us stare at the movie and lastly cry , as we connect with all the history . We can say one of the successful marathi historic movie , till date.

With IDMB rating of 9.9/10 , it is leading housefull in theatres. Do watch in theatres near you .
