Mumba International Short Film Festival to be held on 9,10,11 October 2023 in Pune

Mumba International Short Film Festival on 9-10-11 October 2023 will host various events in the cinema industry this three-day festival. The festival will be inaugurated on October 9 at 9:30 am and short films can be seen from 10 am to 6 am the award ceremony will be held on October 11 from 4 am to 6 pm.




The Mumbai International Short Film Festival has provided a golden opportunity to film lovers as well as Pune residents to watch quality short films from 41 countries around the world. Mumba International Short Film Festival will be celebrated at the National Film Archive of India, Pune from 9-10-11 October 2023.


This festival will be attended by veterans of the cinema industry. In this festival, cine lovers will be able to enjoy a genuine treasure of quality short films from 41 countries around the world like the UK, France, Italy, Canada, Mexico, Switzerland, Spain, Greece, Brazil, Australia, Ukraine and India.


This information was given by the Founder and Organizer of the festival Jay Bhosale, Festival Director Srinivas Kulkarni, Managing Director Rashmita Shahapurkar, and Chief Editor Anil Madansuri. The festival will host a host of events like film screenings for short films, panel discussions, expert mentoring, discussions and Q&As with industry experts, renowned directors and producers.


Jai Bhosle, founder president and organizer of the festival informed that the festival was organized with the idea that short film culture should be developed in India and especially in cultural cities like Pune, and many problems of daily life should be brought before the people through meaningful short films.


21 thousand rupees cash will be given to the first winning short film, 11 thousand rupees to the second-ranked short film, and 7 thousand rupees to the third winning short film along with a medal and a certificate.


Along with this, cash prizes will also be given to technicians and artists in various departments. Short films are classified as Social Awareness Short Film, International Short Film, Foreign Film, Animation Film, Fantasy Fiction Short Film, Commercial Film, Music Video, Music Video and Documentary.


The number of short films participating in this year's festival is more than 500. Out of this, 70 short films will be shown. The festival is free and will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
