Abhishek Bachchan Finest performance in Dasvi

Some rare films actually touch us, which means we connect to the story or it feels we are connected to the story somewhere. The same is the condition with DASVI. Based on a real story, the film is directed by Tushar Jalota and Produced by Dinesh Vijan, Shobhana Yadav, and Sandeep Leyzell. The film is cinematographed simple with some drone shots and the storyline too is very easy to understand.

A political leader is arrested and sent to jail, and he then applies for the SSC Board examination from jail. The film shows dramatically how that is made possible with people around that CM, and how he clears the exam. The screenplay is excellently written and the actors have worked hard for the film, especially speaking the language and also maintaining a proper graph of it.

Abhishek Bachchan should be praised for giving his potential to the role, he literally put his soul into that character. The ladies leading in the film Nimrit Kaur and Yami Gautam, playing the role of Abhishek's wife and a jailor respectively is fantastic to watch.

Some scenes will make you sensitive and some will teach you lessons about life. The other supporting characters have also done their role very up to mark.

The game of politics as a housewife is suddenly made a CM of state unexpectedly, is beautifully acted by Nimirit Kaur. She is one of the characters to watch throughout the film. Yami's role is satisfying and supportive of what is correct in jail as well as Abhishek's motive of appearing and passing in SCC Exam.

It also keeps a light on our education system, in a positive way.

Overall a one-time watch movie is for the audience and is available on Netflix and Jio Cinema. Do watch. It is rated 7.7/10 on IMDb.
